Rencontre is French for “encounter”. This series embodies the encounter between acrylic resin which offers transparentness and durability, with the elegant texture of marble patterns, born from Sailorʼs original technique.

Two materials blend together to create irregular patterns that take on a beautiful form. Each resulting pattern is unique and different. Discover your one-of-a-kind marble design, born from the fusion of innovative materials and craftsmanship.

The marble-patterned barrel is the defining feature of this series and is crafted using the injection molding method that Sailor typically employs for its resin parts. Only under specific conditions can two colors form a beautiful marble pattern without blending too much into each other. While marble-forming techniques have long existed, creating marble patterns with acrylic resin has always been considered difficult. At Sailor, an original technique was developed to achieve marble patterns with a polished shine and captivating depth, using acrylic resin.
